no words necessary...

... there are no words I can add to this... just a heart full of thanks and praise... because He gave his life for me... it was all HIS work on the cross that has given me life!... 'Greater love hath no man than this'...

"Jesus paid it all
all to Him I owe
sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow"...

  7. A great big amen! He gave everything to gain our love, and He asks so little of us, but to love Him. Who couldn't love a God like that?

  8. Ahhh, the sweet innocence of a child's questions. This one packed a powerful punch, the sort that touches the heart and causes lumps to form in one's throat.

    Just think how we'll feel when some day (and I dare say, "soon") we'll see those scars for ourselves! Wow.

    Bless you!

    Jesus Paid it All
    Elvina M. Hall/John T. Grape 1865

    1. I hear the Savior say,
    “Thy strength indeed is small;
    Child of weakness, watch and pray,
    Find in Me thine all in all.”
    * Refrain:
    Jesus paid it all,
    All to Him I owe;
    Sin had left a crimson stain,
    He washed it white as snow.
    2. For nothing good have I
    Whereby Thy grace to claim;
    I’ll wash my garments white
    In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.
    3. And now complete in Him,
    My robe, His righteousness,
    Close sheltered ’neath His side,
    I am divinely blest.
    4. Lord, now indeed I find
    Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
    Can change the leper’s spots
    And melt the heart of stone.
    5. When from my dying bed
    My ransomed soul shall rise,
    “Jesus died my soul to save,”
    Shall rend the vaulted skies.
    6. And when before the throne
    I stand in Him complete,
    I’ll lay my trophies down,
    All down at Jesus’ feet.

  11. The picture says it all.....just like it did for Doubting Thomas. The children do get it, sometimes better than we do. Unles you become like little children, the awe and wonder of what He did for us. Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture.

  13. No words can be added. The child's innocent question brings up the answer in our own hearts.

    Sonja, the word unfolding is also one of my favorite words.

    I love your visits to my blog place. You know what, I have a special love for Norwegians.

    Your words are always right on!

    My eyes fell upon the photo and I wept...no words are necessary.

  15. What a tender, yet powerful reminder of our Savior's love for us! Oh, that I would be as a little child before Him in all I do!
