What a perfect illustration, and it doesn't end until we reach glory, I think. Just like your little one, I can leap from one extreme to the other pretty quickly too.

Right now, I'm tempted to shake that booty. Anything is better than the kitchen grind. One moment they'll be singing songs from Sunday School and the next they want to dance to "Rumor Has It" by ???. They are presently living here with Mom while Dad is on deployment with the US Navy. I am "Mimi" too! Loved the blog - glad you are still writing! This is my take on what is happening:

both young and older are being infiltrated by a system that threatens our humanity. For example, I for one LOVE technology and how it can bring us all together, enhance our creative endeavors, so on. But in the hands of young people who are bombarded daily, EVEN IN OUR SCHOOLS where computers are becoming more and more the teacher, becoming desensitized to human relationship is what is worrying me. I had a ninth grade student tell me last month, as I substitute taught in his physics class, "I don't have to listen to you. You're a substitute. We all know you don't make a lot of money. I don't value people who don't make a lot of money because you are not worth much." I immediately took that as a teachable moment and we discussed this point of view as a class. That shut him up.

We are in a battle, but consistent love will win. IT WILL.

Thank you for visiting my post, AND it is so good to know you are writing again! My grandparents taught me when I was a child and I still remember many of those lessons to this day. Although I was a bit of a prodigal for some years, I never forgot and how thankful I am that God is so amazingly grace filled towards us. I also believe prayers are needed for our loved ones. I wish I could openly share Jesus with the little ones in my class but I cannot. So instead I privately pray for them. :)

Love you and so glad you are back! The Norwegian saying "To meet oneself in the door."
The evil is eager to discourage me. I often have to ask for forgiveness and also admit, I did the wrong thing.
Funny thing is, I don't loose respect for that reason.Felisol https://www.blogger.com/profile/12240191154632603841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3569182682068612485.post-49047839330773792172013-02-11T12:17:22.951-08:002013-02-11T12:17:22.951-08:00I am smiling - but I totally understand the tug/pu...I am smiling - but I totally understand the tug/pull war that those two statements represent.
