When our 3 kids were growing up, all of us fell in love with EVIE, from Norway. We literally wore out her Christmas album... so today as we finish this beautiful Thanksgiving season and begin to look toward Christmas, my selections for Then Sings my Soul Saturday are the following songs by Evie.
I'm sure many of you will remember her... if you click on the links below, you will be singing along with her before you know it...

Wow! I haven't listen to Evie since about 1977. We used to have all her albums and listened to them all the time. What a blessing to hear her again.
Sonja, I'm so glad you posted songs by Evie. I well remember her. I'll have to check with my dad but I think she is some way related to my family. I really enjoyed her music. Thanks for the memories. From one Norwegian to another, I'm sending much love to you,
Debbie
Oh, I LOVE Evie! I had all her albums in high school and just listened to her all the time. I looked her up on YouTube a while back and wish there were more of her old songs out there!
She is so cute and sings beautifully. Thanks so much for sharing her music with us.
Too funny; I remember her from my youngest of days and "come on ring those bells" was a favorite in our home. Thanks for the memories.
