It's Called CHRISTMAS...

I heard this song last week and it sure reflects what I'm feeling about the way that CHRISTMAS seems to be left out and HAPPY HOLIDAYS and SEASONS GREETINGS is okay!

It's a bouncy tune, but the message is clear, and I love their enthusiasm in shedding light on what probably bothers you as it does me.

CHRISTMAS... the very word brings me right back to the manger, and to ... the GIFT.

Thank God for CHRISTMAS, and enjoy this song as we join Then Sings my Soul Saturdays over at http://signsmiraclesandwonders.blogspot.com/. The links there provide some really special music on Saturdays. Have a great weekend!

Amen! Thanks for sharing this. You know, I understand why we believers should seek one another out and 'not forsake the assembling". It gives us personal strength! We realize we're not in this alone. There are others who stand beside us!

How true this is! I do remember when people never seemed to have a problem with saying Merry Christmas. I still do! Thanks for posting this one today Sonja.

Love you,
Debbie

Oh this is something that was just recently on my heart too. I was thinking how it is no longer "Christmas vacation, or break" it is "winter break" and how the programs at school can be all about Santa Claus and elves and reindeer etc., but no mention of the birth of our Savior which is the reason for the season afterall. This was a really good song. thanks for sharing it, Blessings, Debbie

I just posted that song on my blog, be my TSMSS post. I get so disgusted seeing "Happy Holidays" at the Christmas music and all over. Today I went to Hallmark, and there was a sign in the window "Christmas trees." I told them I was glad. I think many people will be turned off by those leaving Christmas out.
