I've always been drawn to the lives of Joseph and Mary, 2 simple people, chosen by God for the most important birth in history. One word always shouts loudly to me about their lives...OBEDIENCE ...
Listen to this beautiful song that we have all heard, sung from Joseph's perspective. It really touches me.
Also, check the other links at THEN SINGS MY SOUL SATURDAYS. There is always a great selection of special music.

I remember the first time that I heard this beautiful song. It is so perfect and so fitting during this most holy season. Christmas joy and blessings to you!

What an amazingly touching song. I had never heard this either. Thank you so much for sharing it.
It sure gives you something to think about from Joseph's point of view.
Hugs,

No matter how many times I hear this song it moves me to tears. The movie, The Nativity, has become a favorite. In fact, it's sitting on my counter right now since I hope to watch it again this weekend.
Blessings,
Kathleen
Sonja, your thought of Mary and Joseph is perfectly put - obedience! And, oh, how it pleases the Father when we all obey His voice in our lives. I want to ponder this thought of them and its impact in our lives, as well as their example of obedience.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your encouraging words to me as we go through a trying season this Christmas.
God is so good, and I have absolutely no complaints, but I do appreciate your prayers very, very much, for it is not easy.
May the Lord, Jesus bless you mightily for your awesome testimony. God is using you, dear friend.
Love,
Andrea

Joseph's Song is so beautiful to me because it reminds us that God chose the commonest of men to be the earthly father of his Son JESUS. It speaks to me every single time I listen to it -
God made and loves each one of us the SAME. He looks at our HEARTS.
