Keyboard chaos...

Lately, I've seen some of the comments I've left on  your blogs, AFTER I punched 'publish'.

Too late...

I have a sticky keyboard problem, the keys are starting to skip or miss, so a smart person, who knows this is happening, should double check everything she writes. Do I?

Not so far...

This reminds me though, in the bigger picture of life, that 'hitting it a lick'  is never as good as double checking yourself, especially in the areas where we know there is a weakness.

My dad always used to say... 'a thing worth doing, is worth doing well'.

God's word speaks to this too.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... Col.3:23

One of those quick little thoughts that God uses to instruct me in my daily life.

If you notice a omment from me, and it doesn't quite look  inished... please know that I am addressing the problem, on the keyboard and in my daily life. :)

I "get it"--and it happens to me, too. MY biggest problem is that my fingers get to moving too fast and I hit a send or publish button too soon too often!

(What a great life application, by the way.)

My problem too. Actually, after i published a post, I am finding wrong written words, although I read the post many times:)
Im sharing also my thoughts and what I hear from God in my other blog: willyouhearfromme.blogspot.com

What a perfect analogy! I so enjoyed this as always!

LOL, look for cracker crumbs! Those also jam up my letters. I must quit eating and typing at the same time.

Inspection, both of the keyboard and of our souls, is always timely advice.

Very wise words! I've been known to click the publish button before checking, especially when I'm in a hurry. And I often quote to myself that Scripture from Col 3:23 as I'm sweeping the floor in our school's ramada after the children have finished eating.

Love,
Debbie

What a fun way of teaching a great principal...of course, my bad spelling and grammar can't be explained away, no keyboard jamming here...LOL
This will stay with me today as I clean!

Great parallels! I sometimes have difficulty with my tongue getting stuck in the "on" mode. I just hate it when that happens :)

Now I understand, this makes me giggle. I noticed that but just thought you were in a hurry. Oh so funny, I found that coffee and keyboards don't mix real well either.
It does more than make the keys sticky. I am on my third keyboard. :)
You are so cute.

You made me mile. I elate to this because my eyboard acts ischievous at times too.

On the main point of the post, I couldn't agree more. That happens to be a favorite verse of mine. In fact, when I taught in the Christian school, my students "had" to write it across the top of every paper. Years later, I went to a graduation, and the valedictorian shouted it out as something that made a difference in his academic life. I count it as one of my most treasured moments.

I really like your dad's quote about doing something well. I like that you sometimes have a few imperfections in your comments, but your warmth and wisdom far exceed the others. I promise it will not bother me if it happens at my blog. It will only make me feel more comfortable commenting to you.
