A funny thing happened...

A funny thing happened when I closed my blog...

I kept writing it anyway!

I didn't plan on that.

I thought there was enough going on in my life that it would be good to let the blog go for awhile.  But whenever I got a new thought or idea, I punched it out quickly on my computer and just let it sit, unread, and unpublished.

So I kept writing, but there was something missing...

Fellowship with all of you!

So here I am again. I may do less blogs than I used to, but I am definitely back! Probably you are rolling your eyes and saying, 'that's just what happened to me, she must be a slow learner'... :)

So here's to all of you, the friendship, fellowship and fun that you bring! And here's to this former blogger re-joining the ranks!

YAY!!!!!!!

Yes, this news deserved multiple exclamation marks!

I'm so excited - and I can't wait to read what's been rolling around in your head, and percolating in your heart!

Yes, I backed off from blogging at one point, but found that God just wouldn't let me disappear. So...lesson learned. Do what feels comfortable, take away the pressure, and let God do HIS thing!

GOD BLESS!

Welcome to my world. It'll be nice to read, to laugh and pray together with you again.
I also had to take an unofficial break for awhile.
I guess blogging helps me in several ways. Getting in touch with beautiful people and searching out my thoughts by writing them down.
A double blessing.
I hope the same for you.

Welcome back, Sonja! It's a hard habit to quit simply because there are so many wonderful ladies out there in blogland to share life with. I missed you.

YAY!! Welcome back! I know just what you mean. I have lost a couple of friends over the last couple of years who had to put blogging aside, and how I have missed them. You do become attached. Glad your back at it ~ no matter how seldom you blog!

Woo hoo! I am so glad that you are back Sonja. Although I certainly understood your reasoning, I just knew that you would continue to have wisdom to share with us. I love to read your posts and never want to miss one. I hope you know just how much I love you. Welcome back to our blogging world.

Love,
Debbie

Well, I'm thrilled! Seriously, I was grumpy about your blog closing, and it is mainly that fellowship thing you mentioned.

Because my life has been so crazy lately, I keep thinking that I should just close mine down. It's the very reason that you mention that I haven't done it.

I'm glad you're back.

So glad to have you back, Bogging has been a surprising thing to me....I thought it was all about writing down your thoughts...never realized there was a community out there of like minded folks to share life with. Welcome back!

Oh to my joy and delight you have returned...and you saved yourself from me coming and tracking you physically down in order to glean from your wisdom and fellowship.

OH good!!! I have missed you. So glad you decided to come back.
It does get lonesome. Fellowship is always so nice.
I look forward to reading your thoughts. Not to mention I missed your comments too.

Oh darling soul,

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS, doesn't it? There is something we learn about ourselves: WE NEED TO COMMUNICATE with one another. Ideas may run thin, time runs out, but the need to fellowship is like a hunger that must be fed. THANK YOU for your visit yesterday....I was unable to come to visit anyone because I worked. Since I have been a substitute teacher, I seem to have less time to blog! Strange.

Oh how I just felt joy when I read your comment. May God use our passions and gifts to touch one anothers' SOUL! Anita

Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I think about quitting, I imagine myself with this same problem. So rather than quitting, I just write when I have something, which doesn't seem like a lot lately.

This makes my heart smile.
