This passage in Luke seems especially fitting in the words of The Message...
"Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don't fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?" (Luke 12:28 MSG)
This verse, along with the one that says He knows the numbers of the hairs on our heads... all remind me of how He KNOWS us, how valued we are, and how important we are to Him! Today is one of those days that I NEED that reminder... do you ever feel like that?...
Just look at those Texas Bluebonnets!

Aren't those Texas Bluebonnets amazing...I can't wait to see them this year? And yes if God cares for them how much more He cares for us...what an awesome reminder in spring. When I hear birds this time of year His word comes back to me also about taking care of the sparrow...AWESOME GOD!!
Those flowers are just lovely! I have a photo of some from my first visit to TX way long ago! THank you sweet friend for the reminder of how valuable we are to Him!!
Hugs!
Susan
Just beautiful, I love Texas Bluebonnets. It is always so nice to remember that He does care and He takes care of the tiniest details of our lives.
This is absolutely STUNNING to me! I have always heart of the bluebonnets, but now I am determined to get to Texas and see these beautiful flowers in person if I have to walk there.
Unfortunately, this year there are few bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes where we live in Texas. Today was the very first time I saw any (I was driving near Navasota), and I saw maybe a tenth of what I normally see.
I like the black-eyed Susans that come out in summer, so hopefully there will be quite a few of those this year. They seem to thrive in hot, dry weather.
Anyway, thank you for the beautiful picture!
One of my first trips to Texas was during the Spring. Hubby had business in Dallas and San Antonio. I was flabbergasted by the array of flowers all along the freeways; and it was then that someone told me Lady Bird Johnson had a hand in it.
Thank you for sharing the glories of your spring. I hope to be able to reciprocate one SOMEDAY flowers bloom here again.
And yes, I often profit from reminders about His unfailing love. Thank God He plants Sonja's along with his flora :)
Hugs,
Kathleen
Oh my! HOw beautiful! I have a Texas friend who has tried to get us out there in time for the blue bonnets for years. Haven't made it yet :( Maybe some day!
Sonja - They are so beautiful! I have visited Texas many times, but never seemed to be there in the spring. Maybe next year.
Meantime - thank you for sharing this encouraging post. ...Marsha
Yes, I do feel that way at times! But am so thankful that He knows my every step and loves me not matter what's going on in my life. The Texas bluebonnets are magnificent! I'm glad I'm a Texan!
I've heard about these flowers! Thank you for the good reminder of how important we are to the Lord.
my parents start talking about the bluebonnets every
january! i may get to see them the first week in april.
i hope they are still blooming then.
your scripture is one of my favorites and reminds me
of george macdonald books, as his protagonists see
the glory of God in His creation.
this is way better than "blank."
Amen and Amen! I'm so thankful for this word of encouragement today dear friend.
Beautiful photo!!! The beauty of GOD's Hand!
Love you!
I needed that reminder today that God values me even more than His beautiful flowers. Also, I have six grandchildren. Aren't they wonderful? One of the great joys of life.
Awww. look at the trail of those blue blue bonnets. This is amazing. Put a good 1-2 punch into that scripture! Yes, I always love being reminded of His love and care and provision.
Hugs to you, Sonja

Stunningly beautiful. We implement the same strategy in NC. I'm never ceased to be amazed by their sight when I turn a corner and see the splendor of their beauty. They almost always bring me to tears, and I think of this exact same verse.
Thanks for sharing this; it brings a smile to my face this morning!
