Oh darling Sonja, Is it NOT the most wonderful "fairytale" that anyone could find themselves in????? HE IS REAL, HE LIVES and so will we...wow, I am tearing up here...gotta go get my turkey ready!PEACE!!!!!! Anita
SonjaI love this Christmas gift card "from Jesus." One of the lines that stood out to me was: "You'll have to look beyond the stores..." This is one of the things I was trying to convey in my poem "Crazy Gift" Because as much fun and virtually inescapable as consumer Christmas is, it is not the "reason for the season." Christ is. And God's greatest gift did not come like anyone expected, not at all: all pretty and tied up with a ribbon, as it were. He came to the world crudely -- in the midst of scandalous rumors about his mother, persecuted, exiled and born in a feeding trough. It was simply, wondrously, crazy.Hallelujah!Ruben
Amen!! What really spoke to me was "... You'll have to look beyond...," This is so beautiful, and has brought great joy to my heart.
