This is a precious poem of such truth. Jesus is always right there, waiting to speak His words of love to us. I am going to pin this on my Pinterest board so everyone can read it and be blessed. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Love, Sandy
This is beautiful Sonja! A good reminder as a letter from Jesus; love that. Wishing you a blessed Christmas with your family. You are very special to me.
Is it NOT the most wonderful "fairytale" that anyone could find themselves in????? HE IS REAL, HE LIVES and so will we...wow, I am tearing up here...gotta go get my turkey ready!
Sonja I love this Christmas gift card "from Jesus." One of the lines that stood out to me was: "You'll have to look beyond the stores..." This is one of the things I was trying to convey in my poem "Crazy Gift" Because as much fun and virtually inescapable as consumer Christmas is, it is not the "reason for the season." Christ is. And God's greatest gift did not come like anyone expected, not at all: all pretty and tied up with a ribbon, as it were. He came to the world crudely -- in the midst of scandalous rumors about his mother, persecuted, exiled and born in a feeding trough. It was simply, wondrously, crazy. Hallelujah! Ruben
Wishing you blessings of the Christmas season, dear Sonja. As you know my Norwegian blog friends will always have a special place in my heart! May you experience abundant joy and peace as this year comes to an end...
