Gold, silver & bronze - share your own...

I love this idea which Janette shared on her blog today. It is found at MY PLACE TO YOURS, where Susan's idea is to share 3 blogs that were among favorites of your own postings, some that meant a lot to you as you wrote them.

So I am jumping in with 3 of my own...

Take a few minutes to visit and read some of the blogs. It's our own little Olympic celebration, even if there are no medals!

Dear Sonja,
I only read one, the silver medal blog. To me it was pure gold.
I've never heard of or thought of writing a prayer journal till now. How sad.
It must have been so comforting reading about your mother's love and care for you and how Jesus heard her prayers.
I can always start now, I might still live until I'm eighty, only God knows.
What I have done, is of course following in my parents footsteps, writing prayers and remarks in my Bible, the one I've had since I was 14.
I also read in my dad's eldest Bible a remark from 1952, when I was 2 and my brother 1 year of age. "Oh Jesus, save my children."
Imagine, that was his need from we were born.
Another thing that inspires me when it comes to prayers and a prayer journal: Prayers don't expire on date. They cannot be deleted from our Lord's hard desk.
I'll definitely set up a prayer journal today. It shall be interesting to witness the answers and the blessings of the Lord.
Guess I've got to start with my ankle prayer!

Oh dear ... I've got a collection of 4+ years worth. I'm not sure I could choose one, much less three that stand out. But what a fun idea!

This I do know: You're solid gold all by yourself :)

Hi there, I read Janette's collection and enjoyed it but girl, I think yours is pure gold. I love that He did create us, for such a time as this.
Hugs tonight and happy watching.

Dear Sonja,
will just report I have started my prayer journal, and my hand is aching. I can't stop writing.
Thanks for bringing this to me.

Oh my, how I loved them! I had read the bronze one, but I loved it anew. I loved the part about "being known at the throne".

For some reason the GOLD one seemed familiar even though you wrote it before I found your blog. Maybe you referenced it in another post or something or I just happened upon it by myself. It's a wonderful story, and I am so inspired by it.

Clearly, all medal winners! I know I've told you before, but I really love the way you write. It speaks to me.

After reading your bronze, silver and gold, I get so everwhelmed of what you wrote. It is so strong. I am so glad that our path crossed. Looking forward for more. BY the way, have you learned how to speak Norwegian?

I linked to each one of your medal winning posts. And I have to say they are quite deserving. I am also glad to see that I had read each one of them and commented at that time. I don't want to miss any of your posts, that's for sure. And I might add that it was well worth rereading each one of them too.

Love,
Debbie
