The wordless wonder...

That's me.

The wordless wonder.

I don't seem to have a creative word to say these days, at least not on my blog. There is plenty going on around here, everything but writing...

Funny thing is that it doesn't seem to be bothering me, so I will be visiting your blogs, as always, but sitting on the sidelines with other bloggers in our own special group for an undetermined period of time. We come and go. It's okay. It isn't even my first trip to the sidelines.

Make sense??

I knew it would. I've seen some of you in this crowd before, and others who may visit down the road.

Apparently, just telling you this took quite a few words, so maybe they aren't ALL gone. :)

Until later...

I do miss you, Sonja. Very much. So, I am going to pray (maybe just a bit selfishly??) for your return to Blog Land soon.

And I'm going to pray for God to fill you with words:

"God will give you the right words at the right time. For it is not you who will be speaking—it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."

(Matthew 10:19-20, NLT)

You will know when the *right time* comes again.

XO and GOD BLESS!

I think being busy is a good thing. I am always glad when you have time to write a post.
I don't think my side bar updates. I see that there is a post I haven't read. I will read it next.

Well, think we all have times when the words don't come as easily as we wish they did. But, I find if I can just get started that the words do come. But, I think the best thing to do is not allow blogging to be an obligation. Once you feel obligated then it probably isn't going to be enjoyable any longer. Glad you are still visiting around. It's always good to see you stop by. Happy weekend!

Dear sonja, you are on my mind and in my prayers. Every time I hear of Billy Graham, I'm reminded of you and every time I sit down by my white sofa table, where your father's book is lying, I'm praying for you. There's a long mail waiting to be written, this fall hasn't just been the time to do so. Many of the things you wrote made me happy, others concerned. Our common Lord still is the shepered and the shadow by our right hand.
I choose to rest in that when the evil reminds me of all my shortcomings. That, and Romans Eight. My mother used to say we should live in Romans Eight. That is my challenge and giftfor you today. Much love Felisol

Dear Sonja, you don't always need words, neither do you need to post, but knowing that you are there, is special to me. Knowing that I have already learned a wealth of wisdom and interesting concepts from you during my blog time on this earth, should bless your heart and cause you to rejoice. I know when God gives you more, you will share, and I for one, will be there to read it all. I appreciate you so much!

Oh Sonja, do I understand. When I think about how it will be seven years in January when I started to blog, I had no idea where this activity would take me. To this day, two wonderful things have happened. I have made some VERY wonderful friends whose companionship means the world to us, and my writing goals have developed. But this is what happens to any one who writes either for recreation, profit or passion: YOU GET STUCK and you need to rest. Thank you dear Sonja for coming to visit me. It means a lot that there are people who still visit. Many however, have stopped visiting and I understand that their duties call but this blogging thing is FUN and such a great way to connect, even from the sidelines. PEACE TO YOU!

I consider it a privilege to share the sidelines with your, sweet friend. There are seasons that are especially conducive to thinking versus sharing. I used to think it meant I was "dry", or "barren". But I've come to learn that it's anything but. All soil requires rest to be fertile.

Hugs,
Kathleen

Since I haven't even visited my own blog in weeks, I hadn't seen your title on my sideboard until this morning. When I say it, I sort of grinned to myself that at least wordless misery loves company. Grin.

For what it's worth: I'm frustrated that so many of my favorite wordsmiths seem to have gone mum. I wonder if it's a good thing or if the Enemy is succeeding in word stealing. Still pondering that. All I know is that I truly miss the days when I would spend some time in the morning visiting blogs of friends when we were all so chatty.

That was supposed to be "when I SAW it".

Good Morning Dear Friend! Just wanted you to know, that even though you are not posting, I am remembering you. It is not easy to forget one who has taught me so much!
Enjoy your Thursday! Keep looking up!
