I always forget how much I love Christmas, all through the house. I think 'I won't do it all this year', but then... I get started and remember how much fun it is and how the lights twinkle and the colors sparkle.
Most of all... I remember what JOY fills my heart because of this day, when Jesus came as a baby, to begin the fulfilling of the prophecy that would change the world forever.

Looks like we were on the *same page* this week! There is something about Christmas decorating that initially seems a bit overwhelming, but then once we get started, we can't rest until it's all complete! Your decorations and your home are just beautiful. And I agree, the very BEST thing that ever happened to this world happened in a manger so very long ago...

Oh I tell myself the same thing every year....I am going to scale back, not do as much etc., and yet so far I can't ever resist. I do love it all.
