a bit of heaven, in Macy's!...

Double click on You Tube to enlarge...

This may be a 'random act of culture' for some, but for me... it's a celebration of the King of Kings, right smack in the middle of Macy's!

Isn't it interesting that the whole world sings about The King of Kings at Christmas, even if they may not know Him yet.

Savior this Christmas.

Amen!
The acoustics in that store were amazing, it sounded like music coming from a concert hall. It is great to see people singing with all there heart, not holding back.

This event likely touched the hearts of many . That day God was glorified in song, and Jesus says:

John 12:32
"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."

Thank you for sharing this clip.

Hello Dear Sonja!
I am back to the world of blogging. I did not like facebook and all the silly stuff that was one it. I had a dream last night that I was to start a blog again and this time it would be based on my faith, in my dream the blog was to help me keep it! I am so happy to be back here among wonderful people like you.
I loved this macy's video, so many people praising the Lord in song. How glorious!!
Come see me!

I have tears in my eyes. This just struck me this afternoon. I love it.

Oh, that the whole world would INTERRUPT their shopping this season to sing praises to the reigning King.

And I have to add that the little gals dressed like devils running around in the midst of it gave me a whole different thought as well.

GREAT POST!!

So wonderful, especially in light of all the efforts to take the religion out of Christmas. I love the smiles and the shoppers joining in the praise (song) - maybe I'll be shopping at Macys this year!

Dear Sonja,
Thank you for letting me have this overwhelming Hallelujah cry. Tears running down my face while I sang along in one of the mightiest hymns ever made. Handel's Messiah is a wonder written after Bible scriptures only, after God revolted Handel's life both physically and spiritually.

I use to listen to the Messiah at least once a year.
Sometimes the conductor let the whole assembly sing along in the Hallelujah choir.

What really brought me to tears today, was the heartfelt way it was sung midst in a shopping mall.

In these horrible days, where Christian song and worship are forbidden in American schools and in Canadian streets, the gospel is preached in malls.
Jesus said, "if these are silenced, the stones will preach."
It happened in my living room today.
Hallelujah

This makes me want to leave my office and drive to the mall and buy gifts for everybody. Exuberant.

Oh how I absolutely loved this. I learned this song in high school when we sang it in chorus for a Christmas concert...you probably wouldn't hear that song today in school.

I sing soprano so I was singing every word in the high notes. I think I'll play it again.

Love you,
Alleluiabelle

"Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD".

Thank you for sharing Sonja. You have blessed me right to the feet of Jesus!!! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I sent out to my email distribution as this blessed me so much Sonja. My heart cry OFTEN is that we will all come together PUBLICLY in one place, one voice, with one heart...all from different backgrounds and cultures and just lay it all down and PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS TOGETHER!!!!!!! I'm still praying for it to happen in a way that the WHOLE WORLD will see JESUS and I won't stop praying!

This video has given me the hope to keep standing in prayer...

I had to come back to share that with you. I'm so undone for crying and praising our King!

Every time I hear The Hallelujah chorus I get emotional. This was fantastic! In Macy's of all places. But why not? One day every knee will bow and I cannot wait for that day. In the meantime, may we allow His light to shine through us to impact this world for Him.

Love you,
Debbie

Blessings,

I am so thankful that we serve a God who continues to "wow", astound, and surprise us with the "how", the "why", and the "when" of the way He works out His great plans, on this earth. In today's world one would not expect this to happen. I was blessed beyond words with this song. Thank you for sharing it. What a God we serve!
