This is a precious poem of such truth. Jesus is always right there, waiting to speak His words of love to us. I am going to pin this on my Pinterest board so everyone can read it and be blessed.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
Love,
Sandy

I love this Christmas gift card "from Jesus." One of the lines that stood out to me was: "You'll have to look beyond the stores..." This is one of the things I was trying to convey in my poem "Crazy Gift" Because as much fun and virtually inescapable as consumer Christmas is, it is not the "reason for the season." Christ is. And God's greatest gift did not come like anyone expected, not at all: all pretty and tied up with a ribbon, as it were. He came to the world crudely -- in the midst of scandalous rumors about his mother, persecuted, exiled and born in a feeding trough. It was simply, wondrously, crazy.
Hallelujah!

Amen!!
What really spoke to me was "... You'll have to look beyond...,"

This is so beautiful, and has brought great joy to my heart. Thank you so much Sonja for sharing this.

God bless you friend and your family. I want to wish you and your family a blessed Christmas filled with love and great joy.
