The whole world sings about Jesus at Christmas!...

I've never posted anything by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, or Andrea Boccelli. But from my earliest childhood days, I also have never heard a choir sing like they do, and with Bocelli singing in the foreground, my hubby and I just sat quietly for a few minutes last night and listened to this most beautiful piece of music a friend sent to us. We were silent and blessed. The music is about our Saviour, and it made Christmas so real as we listened to the words so beautifully sung... I wish our church had a huge choir and organ...

I am reminded of how my dad used to say that' the whole world sings about Jesus during Christmas!'...

He is one talented man! The whole world sings about Jesus at Christmas...so true. Even the liberals in Hollywood like Streisand sing about Him!

Dear Sonja;
I just recently had a row with a person about how "everyone" seems to embrace Jesus at Christmastime.
I love the singing of all Christmas hymns. They're moving me to tears and I am reminded of the words in John's first letter 4 :2 "This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,"

The wonderful gospel told us in Luke 2 should always be new to us. The angels bearing forwards the message from God to the herds on the field, that his son is born in a stable in Bethlehem.
I love every syllable in the famous, but always new text about the birth of Our Savior.
"Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God"
Doesn't that call for a Hallelujah?

PS.
And an AMEN.

The music is certainly special at this time of year and yet another gift to us. Let's just hope that we all take the time to listen to it in quiet reflection.

Beautiful Sonja! I posted his story or perhaps I should say his Mother's story about him via video on my post abortive healing blog a few months back.

Indeed the whole world sings of Him even when they may not realize it -- reminds me of what the Bible says, "EVERY knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord..."

You're always a blessing! Singing about our LORD with you!

I love what your Dad said...so true! Beautiful...makes you just want to sing along with them at the top of your voice.
I always think about one day where all will confess Him as Lord!!!...ALL!!!!!
