7 questions...

My good buddy, Debbie, at Heart Choices, has 'tagged' me with 7 questions...

So, here we go...

1. If you could travel anywhere with no thought to cost, where would you choose to go?

I'd go straight back to Norway! I was blessed to go there this past summer, and I fell in love with my mother's home land!

2. What song would you choose for someone to sing at your funeral?

I may change my mind later (if I have time to think it through :)... ) but right now it would be Selah on tape, singing No More Tears. Click on the title and listen to it and you'll probably see why I love it!

3. If you could spend a day with anyone, (dead or alive) who would you choose?

I would choose my mom and dad! If you choose one, the other would be there too. They are both in heaven, and I know we won't be married in heaven, but...

4. What do you want people to remember you by?

Someone who reached out to others and encouraged them, someone who had joy and laughter, and was quick to share the reason for that, the hope that I have because I know Jesus.

5. Are you an early morning person or a night owl?

Early morning! I am loaded with energy and ready to go... later in the day I wind down a little bit. I also love the night time and have to be careful that I don't get going on something and get a second wind, then I can't sleep!

6. What is your favorite meal to prepare?

Either spaghetti with meat sauce or tacos full of fresh everything, especially guacamole!

7. What would a perfect day be like for you?

This one is harder... there are lots of things that would be special, but really... I've never thought about that very much, I know it would include being with my family and our 6 grandkids... I kind of like things like they are...

Questions like these are always hard to answer, for sometimes there are more than one answers. I certainly enjoyed reading yours!

Hello Sonja

I like answering questions, well sometimes: here I go;

1. I would go to Italy, because I have seen it on the travel show, & it
Screams "Come Visit Me!"

2.Ok, this may sound strange but , "When Mercy Walked In"

3. Who would I spend time with? My Grandma who passed before Fathers day, and I was not able to see her before or attend funeral

4. I want to be remembered as someone who made people feel good about themselves, laugh, and most of all someone they saw changed
by the Lord.

5. I have now joined the Night Owl club since I began blogging. I think being new to blogging is causing insomnia (Ha Ha).

6. Favorite meal to prepare is Fish in the frying pan with olive oil, seasoning, baked potato with cheese, sour cream & chives, and to make the plate look pretty I add a pretty fruit salad.

7. A perfect day for me would be: My mind not swirling around with a million thoughts, and be able to spend time with the Lord, and be a good wife, and mom.

Thanks for the fun post.
God bless you
Michele Katherine

Sonja,

You are already living #4 so fully that you'll be remembered that way always!

I can so relate to #5 and I was thinking as I read #3 my Grandparents...like your parents, the two would be together.

Love you and thanks for sharing more of yourself with us!

As much as blogging has become a part of my daily routines and joys, and my blog friends are an immense source of inspiration, spiritual fellowship and interpersonal love and understanding, I have to put myself on sick leave for a while.
I've had as a principle that I at least should answer and keep in touch with the ones that bothered to visit and comment on my blog.
Lately I haven't been able to do that, and that makes me feel so shameful.
I have been struggling with this chronic fatigue syndrome for two decades, lots of broken bones due to osteoporosis, arthritis and now also gastritis.
I am blessed to live in Norway. I have appointment with our family doctor once a month, physiotherapist once a week, and I go hiking and swimming also a least once a week to keep this old machinery running.
I have family, a few, but dear friends and best of all husband Gunnar and Serina who care about me, and vice versa.
Thanks to Teach Mary and Gunnar I also have reached a new level of enjoying photographing.
To me blogging has been about sharing, preferably of the good things in life. Thinking about my blog friends make me feel rich, happy and conscious about values and interests beyond my own sphere.
I will in random order thank Terry, Amrita, Mrs. Mac, Saija, Lidj, Crown of Beauty, Trish, Debbie, Sonja, Carol Ann, John C, Jim, Teach Mary, Leora, Robin from Israel, Pilgrim father David, Annie, Julie LBM, Constance, Pat, Diane, Cheryl, Deb, Maria Stahl, The Montreal Sisters, Colleen, Kris, E G Wow (who taught me to enlarge photos), Carletta, ilandavita, Nora Johnsen, reg,
Ralph and Patti and Raven. You have all put so much wisdom into my life, broadened my horizon and opened my heart.
I will be back. I simply cannot be without you. Please bear over with me and say a prayer if you feel like.

This is my third time trying to leave a comment. I have no idea why but I've much to say. :)

We are so on the same page Sonja!

I think a trip to Norway with my sisters would be perfect and we could stop by and see Felisol and encourage her. I listened to the Selah song. I love that group but never heard that song ever. But I loved it and saved it to my favorites. What a powerful message and one I hope to have at the end of my life. It's so true!

We are both early morning people!

I love spaghetti and meatballs and so does Greg. ANd Greg loves anything Mexican. I have to add though that I love salmon, especially Norwegian salmon. :)

You are a joy and a blessing to me and many others. Love you my sis,
Debbie

1. to my longed for mountain home near Gatlinburg, TN. I hope to live there one day.

2. Dwelling in Beulah Land.

3. Your dad:)

4. As someone who knew God

5. Night owl

6. No favorite meals to prepare... I hate to cook. But eating out? Pasta, hands down.

7. Me and my man in the mountains, enjoying a fall day on our deck and eating a great steak and dessert. Throw in an episode of "swamp people" (I'm not kidding) and we've neared perfection!

Love you friend.

Precious Sonja, you are most definitely an encourager. The strong anointing on you penetrates your blog and when you leave comments, too.

Just a little something from Judy said...

I found it to be so much fun to read more about you. I am with you on the early morning hours and being careful about my second wind at night. I am also with you on the spahghetti and tacos. Your answer here made me smile. You are certainly a fun and genuine person.

your desire to be with them so and to hear your stories.

witnesses. what in the world? i wonder how much
they do see.

i hope you have had as blessed a sunday as i have!
